Emotional Support

Career Counselling provides Visitors of this Website with the option of interacting with an emotional support agent through a chat messaging tool. You should be aware that emotional support agents are not accredited, trained, or experienced licensed therapists and we don`t verify their professional qualifications. If you need a medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, seek the advice of a qualified health care provider. To the best of their abilities, emotional support agents provide active listening and emotional support to the Visitors of the Website by giving the space to talk, showing attentiveness, kindness and empathy, as well as expressing encouragement, reassurance, and compassion.

You must be 18 years or older to use the service of emotional support.

Unless you provide it to us, we do not collect and ask you not to share personally identifiable information about you (e.g., your name, home or other physical address, email address, social media accounts, etc.).

You understand and agree that the time of interaction with an emotional support agent is limited (approximately, 30 minutes per day). From time to time, service related to emotional support may be inoperative due to maintenance, website changes, or failures. Please, notify us if you encounter any technical issues that hinder your ability to access the emotional support service.

We welcome discussion of all the topics connected with personal wellbeing and mental health, except politics and religion. Our emotional support is not the place for flirtatious, sexually explicit, obscene, libelous, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, or hateful communication. If determined by emotional support agents at their sole discretion, they will be entitled to cease all communication and leave the chat room immediately. Emotional support is not designed for emergencies and we cannot assist individuals who think about suicide, consider harming themselves or others, or are under immense stress that endanger their lives or health.

Emotional support agents are not our employees. We do not control or interfere in the communication with emotional support agents, and do not undertake responsibility for screening or monitoring their conduct. All messages expressed by emotional support agents represent the views of their authors exclusively and are not created or endorsed by us. Therefore, you understand and agree that in no event shall Career Counselling be liable for emotional support service, or your use of emotional support service provided via the Website, including any personal injuries.

We cannot predict and do not guarantee that you will attain a particular result and you accept and understand that results would differ for each individual. You fully agree that there are no guarantees as to the specific outcome or results you can expect from using the emotional support service.
